WORLD CHEESE AWARDS

The 35th World Cheese Awards will be held between 27-28 October at Trondheim Spektrum in Norway, and will be sponsored by HANEN, the national organization for rural tourism and agricultural products in Norway. The competition will be part of the Oste V-M cheese festival.

The World Cheese Awards, established in 1988, are organized by the Guild of Fine Food and are the largest global event dedicated exclusively to cheese, bringing together cheese producers, retailers, buyers and food critics from around the world.

Every year, more than 4,000 cheese from more than 40 countries around the world are tasted blindly by a jury of 250 international cheese experts and representatives from 38 countries.

Each cheese is judged according to its crust, texture, color, body, texture and taste.

The World Cheese Awards were created to encourage cheesemakers around the world, allowing them to showcase their products to an international jury of experts, and often to highlight small artisanal producers. Each cheese will be evaluated for its own merits, each award provides that every product stands out in counters full of cheese, regardless of the size of your company.
